Cequadrat software

There are no registered users currently online. My system was Windows 98 in that time. The solution to remediate this problem, offered by Microsoft, does not work and the result is regularly a system crash. Read about ISOBuster ; it may help. Perhaps someone else has a suggestion if that doesn't work.

CeQ is a packet writing program where you have to format the disc and may need to be on the computer that your are trying to read the CD's. Find a friend that has Windows 98 and see if you can load the program on that computer to recover the files. Packet writing software is convenient until you want to recover the files. The you find out you can't. There are session writing programs that will allow you to write almost as conveniently and can be read on any computer.

Old Roxio programs had Drag to Disc but it was removed. I don't know why not because it came with the computer I have, and I had this computer for about two years, but I just seems to never work when I try it.

I acudently crashed my computer once, and harvi needed to make a backup of some stuff on my computer during safe mode but he had to just take it all with him, and copy the computerm to his hard drive, and make a copy of what we had, so we wouldn't lose everything while we booted it back up.

Please Help me! Burn will not start up. Is there a new driver that I need to install or what should I do? I can't get my computer to read a CD after it burns just data. Could you tell me where to go to download Cequadrat just burn again. If only I still had it! What I do remember from back then was that support for writers in CeQuadrat was on a drive by drive basis, or even in some cases firmware version by firmware version basis.

If you still have the CeQuadrat disk try and have a look for the helpfile. I think it had a list of supported drives there somewhere - then scour the earth for a drive on that list.

Also it may well be worth asking at your local PC shop not the chain type stores! I can't justify buying old drive or old computer when CD recovery software sucess or fail hasn't been determined.

Not cheap but get a second computer install Windows 98SE and install an older version of Nero you can buy cheap off of Ebay. The old versions of Nero could read and copy almost any cd's, I had a cd that was incompleat it did not compleat the write proccess and was able to get the files off of the cd. But you need an older version of windows and Nero. I keep a system on the side for doing things the new software will not let you do.
