Critical softwrap file error 1
King of all squirrels in Squirreltown. No comments Permalink Share No comments. H ow do i get rid of this softwrap file error window that keeps coming popping up. W hen i start up my laptop xp i get a critical softwrap file error. C an you give me a good enough reason to switch to Windows Vista right now? Today however, I felt that the it has now been causing more issues than benefits, as the windows operating system was still considering the junction as taking up space around 22 GB and not just a place holder like I had intended, so I looked up how to delete it the link.
What I found told me to just remove it delete it like you would a normal file, so after going into safe mode and using the built in admin account I was able to remove the link.
I then tried moving the users profile back onto the C drive, but found that I had no space left on that hard drive. I tried using windows clean up manager to remove system restore points as well any other temporary files, but I still cannot reserve the 22 GB that my junction was using. Before this I tried to delete unused programs as well as moving documents to reserve space, but was not very effective as most of the space contains important documents.
Is there any other way to get the space back, should I revert back to using the symbolic link, or am I even using the wrong type of link? I bought a HP computer and it has windows vista home premium on it. My question:is there a way to copy the windows vista onto a disk in case my computer crashes and I have to reinstall it??
How would I do this. This is a digital marketing and distribution system that manages the entire buying and selling process of software. Installing and uninstalling various peer 2 peer programs appears to be the main cause of this error.
Hope this helps Jerry. Thank you so much. I found it in several areas and deleted it from them all. I was still getting the error message. WOW what a pain to remove. As a final effort I did a search Piolet and 6 files showed up I deleted them all.
This worked. I can't thank you enough. You provided me with enough info that I was able to finally delete everything and now I am not getting that error message. A million thanks! You are most welcome Regards Jerry. Hi Dan, it is called "Blubster". Dan Penny , Nov 28, Stubborn little bugger eh? Dan Penny , Nov 29, Go to Start, Programs, Blubster or whatever it's called there. See if there's an "Uninstall" choice.
If so, try that first. If not, then; 2. It may be under the software companys name. See if there's an "Uninstall" or "Unwise" file to uninstall. If so, try that. If not, then; 3. Post back with your results and any further questions. Thanks very much Dan, i followed your insructions and now have it sorted, many, many thanks for you help.
